Education
I received my M.A. in Greek and Latin from The Catholic University of America in 2015, which required that I pass departmental comprehensive examinations in both Latin and classical Greek in addition to a rigorous course of study covering a complete range of surviving Latin and Greek literature. I received my B.A. in Classical studies from The George Washington University in 2012, where I graduated magna cum laude, was admitted to the Dean's list for three consecutive years, and for three consecutive years received the prestigious Staughton Prize for Excellence in Latin, awarded to the university's top Latin student.
Experience
I have 13 years of formal training in classical Latin spanning Middle School to Graduate School as well as 5 years of formal training in classical Greek. I am a fluent reader of both languages, including all dialects of classical Greek (Attic, Doric, Aeolic, Ionic, and Koine). Over the course of my studies I have read the works of nearly every ancient Greek and Latin author that has survived to modern times. I was also the first student in the history of my high school to receive a perfect score of 5 on the AP Latin literature exam. I have 9 years of experience tutoring Latin and 4 years of experience tutoring ancient Greek to students of all ages and proficiency levels. I have worked both as a private tutor and as the official Latin and ancient Greek tutor for The George Washington University. My students consistently notice dramatic, rapid improvements to their retention of the material, fluency in the language, and engagement with the subject matter while working with me.

Hobbies
I am a voracious reader and have both a professional and personal interest in politics, history, foreign languages, art history, literature, and philosophy. Although my studies in Classics have forced me to focus my attention on the ancient world these days, I am also an amateur musician and play guitar in a band on the weekends. I additionally have a great love for football and soccer when I have the time to watch them.
